Episode 9: Eat My Brain

April 27, 2017

This week Jaso shakes the musical science community to it’s core with his game changing P.I.L.S. theory while Fox lays down the gauntlet to Chapman/Chinn's libel lawyers for the second week running. There’s also time for the Condition Mint team to offer an explanation as to why ex-Angels bassist Buzz Bidstrup has such a weird name.

Episode 8: Chinn Up Chaps

April 20, 2017

Condition Mint return with an episode dedicated to the shit hot songwriting/producing team of Chapman/Chinn. A heavily libellous episode ensues which posits the existence of a 40 year old unpublished Steven King manuscript and leans heavily on Sir Tungsten Hemmersley’s enunciation of the word “booth”.

Episode 7: That’s Sh*t, Cop This!

April 13, 2017

Episode 7 of Condition Mint sees our heroes confront popular opinion head on and delivering it a brutal yet perfectly legal shirtfront. That’s right - It’s cover versions that are superior to the original, and it’s not for the faint hearted, non maverick thinkers or Dylan fans. On top of the musical sacrilege Jase manages to coin a new nickname for Graham Bonnet, Fox announces he is leaving his wife over unconscionable Noddy Holder slurs and Sir Tungsten Hemmersley succumbs to the red mist.

Episode 6: Don’t Tell Daddy

April 6, 2017

Condition Mint seek to unburden themselves of unspeakable guilt as they head into the music confessional to admit the songs they are embarrassed to like. With those sins pardoned, Fox and Jaso celebrate by discussing how you can lose your fingers listening to 80s power ballads and the challenges of rebranding Hanson as the Wu Tang Clan.

Episode 5: Bladvaas Meatballs

March 30, 2017

The Condition Mint team throw themselves into an all ABBA special, breaking apart a couple of songs by the Swedish pop maestros. In a typically action packed episode, Jase unveils a brand new astro-musical theory, Fox constructs an elaborate maritime metaphor and bullshit is called on Steve Albini’s CV. There’s also time for the internet’s favourite FM radio contest “Fragment of Mystery™” and obnoxious space being Mingewell Stoole crashes the party once again in his increasingly predictable manner.

Episode 4: It’s Pure Poetry Lad Vol 1

March 23, 2017

The Condition Mint team dedicate this weeks episode to the study of bad lyrics, with searing focus on two doozies. In the process of doing so, Fox and Jase ponder the parallels between Nelson Mandella and Britny Fox frontman Dizzy Dean Davidson and present a fully produced playlet illustrating a notorious rock and roll star committing to his craft with the gentle encouragement of a studio engineer with the worst Brooklyn accent ever committed to tape.

Episode 3: Ladders Give, Snakes Take

March 16, 2017

Condition Mint returns with a special episode in which Fox and Jase dissect a couple of their favourite tracks from AC/DC and offer an impassioned case for them being more than a stadium filling Dad rock band that Joe Hockey likes. As usual, our intrepid hosts come at a well worn subject from a variety of angles, and find time to offer a short broadcasting lesson on how not to sign off a podcast episode which degenerates into a Cannonball Run end credit sequence by way of The Two Ronnies.

Episode 2: Live and Let Live

March 9, 2017

Condition Mint is back! After filing all feedback and constructive criticism in the bin, Fox and Jaso plough forward with episode 2 producing another geyser of utterly untrained music analysis. They also find time to test out Jase's Swedish accent AND Elvis impression, introduce their first test cricket metaphor and attempt to analyse the motives of mysterious space being Mingewell Stool. On top of all this they vivesect live performances by Linda Ronstadt and Jerry Lee Lewis (and refer to another Jerry Lee performance here)

Episode 1: Hello, It’s Good To Be Back

March 2, 2017

It's the maiden voyage of the Condition Mint podast in which listeners are introduced to hosts Fox and Jaso. They reveal some secrets of their their pasts and shed cold hard light on a variety of other topics, including what constitutes stalking Susanna Hoffs, why Fox can't get into funerals and who Jaso's favourite Beatle is. The episode concludes with the dramatic appearance of an unexpected visitor, who lays down a challenge that could very well shape the future of the show. Believe!!
